Kay Kemp is the Dining Services Director at Francois Bend, bringing over 16 years of culinary experience to the team. A native of Gonzales, Louisiana, Kay studied under the renowned chef John Folse at Nicholls State University, where she began her journey in the culinary arts.
Kay has worked in a variety of settings, from fine dining to senior care, and made the transition to senior living in 2021. Prior to her current role, she served as a traveling chef, sharing her culinary expertise with diverse communities. Passionate about enriching the dining experience for seniors, Kay is committed to creating exceptional and memorable meals for the residents at Francois Bend.
When she’s not in the kitchen, Kay enjoys spending time with her 5-year-old son, who she describes as the light of her life. Kay is also an avid cook and food enthusiast, always seeking out new flavors and culinary inspiration.
