Life Enrichment Coordinator
Like many, my grandparents played instrumental roles in my early years of life. Many Over-nighters, memorable experiences of attending sporting & school events plus exciting holiday celebrations, all with my grandparents impacted me in many ways. Often times they were even my build in tutors & made sure my homework was completed on Friday afternoon before my weekends could start. All of these experiences were instrumental in developing a deep love & respect & compassion for the older & wiser population.
Julie has been extremely fortunate to have taught physical education & created & directed summer camps ages here in Gonzales, La at St Theresa of Avlia and in the USVI on the island of St Croix. Through these experiences she fell in love with creating communities & cultures of inclusiveness, adventurous fun activities and a philosophy of love, service & impact.
Through her professional life Julie has been committed to ongoing professional improvement, learning & growing in order to continue to grow as a person, add value to people’s lives and the organizations she is involved with. As Life Enrichment Coordinator, Julie is honored to bring her enthusiastic energy, wild ideas and an intention of honoring the residents. It’s her mission to remind them that being here is EASY LIVING and that as long as they are here & alive they are of value and have loads to offer this community and the community a large. What they do matters! They are the WISE People in our lives & it is an honor to be a part of their lives!!
